1948 Ford F-1 Pickup

This 1948 Ford F-1 Pickup was purchased for a few hundred dollars and will be transformed into the shop's new ride. It is being built into a street rod style truck and has already received sponsorship from Pete & Jake's axle company. The plan is for a custom z'd frame, no hood or fenders, a small block Chevy engine with 5 speed trans, 32 Ford front suspension with disc brakes, coilovers in the rear, and more. The cab has been chopped 5" and all new corners added due to extensive rust. We are currently completing the bodywork on the cab. Follow along as we hopefully get this rod on the street sometime in 2011.
