1975 Datsun 280Z

After seeing the 1976 Z car we did in the past, this customer had to have us do the work on his 1975 model. The car was dropped off to have the engine bay freshened up and while it was out some performance mods. The engine was rebuilt with flat top pistons and a larger camshaft to gain some more squeeze and better breathing. All of the factory brackets, fasteners, etc were re-coated in the original yellow zinc chromate finish. The valve cover was chromed for a little more pop and many of the other factory parts were polished to a brilliant shine and cleared for longevity. The engine bay was also repainted while everything was out. A number of other mods were done along the way as well including 4 piston calipers, cross drilled/slotted rotors, a short throw shifter, new carpeting, sound deadener, new steering wheel, and more.
